How long your story is, might depend on where you can sell it.

Crimson Moth for example only accepts two lengths

15,000-20,000 words~~Novella (Ebook only)
45,000- 90,000~~Novel (Ebook and Print)

While The Wild Rose Press accept

Rosette 7,500 to 20.000 words (ebook only)
Miniature Rose 20,001 to 40,000 words (ebook only)
Rosebud 40,001 to 65,000 words (ebook only)
Bouquet (anthology) 65,001 to 100,000 words (ebook only)
Rose 65,001 to 100,000 words (ebook & print)

Each publisher can be different so check their submission guidelines before submitting.
